A magical place, between the vineyards and the river, with a stunning view over the Douro, the Casa do Rio project was designed by architect Francisco Vieira de Campos. This project earned the award for the “Sustainable Wine Tourism Practices” category in the 2016 Best of Wine Tourism Awards, and the 1st prize in PNAM'19 (National Awards for Wooden Architecture 2019)

Casa do Rio offers 8 rooms with spectacular views over the Douro. The swimming pool with panoramic views over the river is perfect for a refreshing experience after basking in the Douro's hot sun.
