Georgia Wine Tour in Kartli Region, with Lunch

Discover the Kartli wine region in Georgia with this full-day wine tour.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Tbilisi in the morning for a journey to Mtskheta, the beautifully renovated old capital of Georgia and one of the oldest cities in the world (established 5^th century BC).

Your first stop will be at Iago’s Wine Cellar, where you will have the opportunity to learn about Qvevri, a Georgian clay vessel used for making wine. Iago is one of the most revered Georgian winemakers today. His wines are sold in famous restaurants of London including The Ritz on Piccadilly.

Next will be a visit to Chateau Mukhrani and its royal castle, gardens and unique cellars. Learn about the history of the Georgian Royal Family Estate and the wine made there. Discover the castle's unique art of winemaking. Stroll through the vineyards and visit the winery. 

Return to Tbilisi for a walk before driving through the historical districts of the city in the evening to enjoy the astonishing landmarks of our capital.
