Throw in the culinary greatness and excellent wine that the region is known for and you have the perfect recipe for living the dolce vita! Experience all that Tuscany has to offer while weaving in a daily yoga practice that will keep you feeling energetic and fully present.
The accommodation will be a beautiful 3 bedroom villa located right in the heart of the Tuscan countryside between Cortona and Montepulciano, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes of the iconic cypress-lined rolling hills. At the same time you will be just a short 15 minute drive from one of the most amazing hill towns of Italy, Cortona, that not by chance inspired the book "Under the Tuscan Sun".
The property was built using traditional Tuscan stone and brick, making a charming exterior that blends perfectly with the surrounding landscape. It offers a fully equipped kitchen, WI-FI, air conditioning, large private swimming pool and a spacious garden, all with a spectacular view. The perfect setting to live the Tuscan dream!
Itinerary:
Day 1: Transfer on your own and arrival to Cortona where you will be greeted for your check-in and given an orientation. Upon arrival you will find a welcome Magnum bottle of fine Tuscan wine, so you can get started with a true Italian aperitivo!
Day 2: Yoga lesson at your villa. This is a free day, you can choose to relax at the villa or a variety of organised activities and excursions can be set up for you if you prefer. You can visit beautiful hill towns like Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza, Orvieto or larger cities like Florence or Siena.
Day 3: Yoga lesson at your villa. This afternoon you will enjoy a fun, hands on cooking class where you will learn to make homemade pasta with a private chef, followed by a 3 course meal!
Day 4: Yoga lesson at your villa. Drive along the hills of Cortona and Montepulciano to discover another part of Tuscany that produces great wine. Visit two wineries for a tour and tasting. Enjoy a delicious meal with wine pairing for lunch.
Day 5 and 6: Yoga lesson at your villa. This is a free day, you can choose to relax at the villa or head to explore the area.
Day 7: Yoga lesson at your villa. The day is free to do as you choose. There will be an incredible farewell dinner, prepared by a private chef at your villa. Each of the 3 courses will be paired perfectly with a Brunello wine, for a very unique vertical wine tasting led by a professional sommelier.
Day 8: Departure day. Check-out of the villa.
