4-Day Luxury Wine Tour in Lisbon and its surroundings

This 4-day private wine tasting tour explores Lisbon and the most western coast of Europe, sampling the region's distinctive wines and unique local cuisine.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Welcome to Lisbon
Upon arrival at Lisbon Airport, your host will be waiting for you. You will be transferred to your accommodation, a 4-star hotel in the city heart.

Enjoy some free time to relax. For dinner, it is recommended you try a traditional restaurant with Fado so you discover the Alma (soul) of Portuguese people.

Return to the hotel.

Day 2: The heart & soul of Lisbon
After breakfast at the hotel there is time to discover the city. From the most historical districts to the newest part of the city, you will immerse into the narrow streets and explore the Moorish and Jewish heritage.

A traditional lunch, paired with some of the best wines, will be served on the most historical area of the city – Belém. Wines from different regions will turn this moment into a travel through different terroirs, without leaving the city.

In the afternoon, relax with a walk on the riverside and end the day in one of the many rooftops in the city, overlooking the river and the colourful buildings.

Day 3: The surprising wines of Lisbon wine region.
After breakfast, the day will start with one of the most idyllic views! The calm countryside is just a few minutes away from the city centre. Your first visit will be at Shakespeare estate! Curious? These wines reveal the influence of the Atlantic and the protection of the mountain.

Next, head to the Atlantic coast! Sintra, World Heritage Site by the UNESCO since 1992, is one of the most magical sites in Portugal. In the middle of Sintra green forest you will discover one of the most exciting wine producers in the region. The estate history dates back a few centuries ago, but their wines are the result of passion, love and faith! Atlantic wines, with great acidity and the world-famous sweet Colares wines will be tasted along with a delicous lunch served with an Ocean view!

The day will continue exploring the most western coast of Continental Europe: Cabo da Roca, where the strong wind and the breathtaking views over the ocean delight every visitor, charming Estoril (well-known from 007 Casino Royale!) and Cascais, a small fisherman village, also known as “The Portuguese Riviera” are  mandatory stops until you return to the hotel.

Day 4: Goodbye Lisbon!
Enjoy a relaxing morning at the hotel or have your own time in the city before flying back home. Transfer to Lisbon airport.
