Istanbul Half-Day Food Tour

Discover Istanbul and learn about Turkish people's daily lives and tastes while walking through the heart of modern and old Istanbul.

This is an interactive tour where you will get a taste of Istanbul by asking questions, sampling delicious food items and by being one of the crowd.

The tour begins in iconic Taksim Square and you will head down the pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi/Street, home to many of the foreign embassies, now consulates. Formerly Pera, this area is now known as Beyo?lu.

You will have a peek at the most popular restaurants to understand Turkish cuisine. You will stroll through the Çiçek Pasaj?/flower arcade and adjoining small fish market, feasting your eyes on the displays of fresh produce, and trying some of the more unusual delicacies.

You will sit down to enjoy a Turkish coffee in a tiny hole-in-the-wall place made by a master coffee-maker! The walk will take you towards the Galata Tower where you will enjoy a delicious lunch.
