Itinerary:
Day 1: Upon arrival in Santiago you will be picked up from the airport and transported to Magnolia Hotel, where you will have the rest of the day at leisure. Magnolia Hotel is a seamless fusion of the city's past and its future, offering historic beauty together with luxe accommodations, a gourmet restaurant, and a pitch-perfect location at the foot of the Cerro Santa Lucia hilltop park. You will be staying in the perfect area to explore a little bit of Santiago!
Day 2: After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to take a different route between vineyards, wineries and artisans. The history of passionated families united by a dream in common: to obtain the best product in one of the best wine-growing valleys of Chile.
Together with an expert sommelier guide, you will be taken from Santiago to the coast for a trip in the depth of the Casablanca valley. Start at Queserıá Doña Rina, a cheese factory, for a tour and tasting of their best products.
The trip continues in Catrala vineyard, where you will taste its award-winning Merlot and the freshness of its best Gewurztraminer. Discover and explore the treasures of its native forests and its vineyards.
Then, you will head up to a beautiful spot in the middle of a vineyard to have a spectacular picnic, obviously paired with great wine.
Finally, visit Atilio & Mochi, a vineyard belonging to an adventurous Brazilian couple full of fascinating stories and great wines.
At the end of the day you will return to Magnolia Hotel in Santiago.
Day 3: Today you will have the opportunity to experience the life that occurs in a vineyard from a viticulturist perspective. Have you ever thought if the size and weight of the grapes matter? Do you know if the Andes mountain range influences the characteristics of a wine?
Feel free to relax and enjoy different activities on the slopes of the Andes in Viñ a San Pedro. The tour includes tasting 3 of the best Viñ a San Pedro wines and a tasty country lunch. The magic of the vineyards and the heritage of the knowledge of its protagonists awaits you so that through textures, aromas, flavors and history you can know the origin and processes of the emblematic drink of Chile.
After this amazing experience you will be transported to Colchagua Valley, specifically to Clos Apalta Residence, one of the most exclusive places to stay in the Chilean wine region.
You will have you own private “Casita” (house) to relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape in the middle of an award-winning vineyard. Enjoy a 4 course wine pairing menu, cocktail and non alcoholic drinks.
Day 4: Enjoy a delicious “a la carte” breakfast before you start an exciting day in one of the most exclusives wineries in Chile.
The vineyard is located at the entrance of the Apalta Valley, with its 60 hectares laid amphitheatrically. Make sure to reach different corners to have the most astonishing views!
Enjoy a private tour and tasting at Clos Apalta Winery, which includes an unforgettable visit to the family's private cellar. You will also have the opportunity to visit other wineries in the Apalta Valley in a tour with other guests of the hotel. Before going to bed, enjoy a 4-course wine pairing menu, cocktail and non alcoholic drinks.
Day 5: After a delicious breakfast, enjoy the rest of the morning at leisure. A private car will pick you up to take you back to Santiago.
