Tour Overview
Tour the magnificent and beautifully landscaped grounds of Santa Rita vineyard in Maipo Valley, Chile and taste premium wines with this half-day wine tour.
You will be picked up from your hotel in Santiago and drive to the Maipo Valley, one of the most important valleys where Chile produces its amazing wines, thanks to the microclimate which creates the best conditions to create, for example, the best presentations of Cabernet Sauvignon.
You will arrive at Santa Rita vineyard, known as being part of the history of Chile, and for the world recognized wines they have.
You will begin with a tour of the history of Chile and its viticulture. Beggining in the vineyards, a variety garden will allow you to learn a little more about the different vines and their characteristics. You will be taught about the complete process of wine elaboration, passing through the wineries of fermentation, reserve and bottling plant. Visit the historic winery made of "Cal & Canto", and the famous "Winery of the Hundred and twenty patriots", today National Monument.
You will finish with a tasting of three Ultra Premium Santa Rita wines paired with fine cheeses, nuts, biscuits and water.
You can also visit the Andean Museum free of charge. At the end of this incredible experience full of Chilean history and wine history, you will return to Santiago, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
