Tour Overview
Discover Santiago with this half-day walking wine tour. Walk your way through history from the old Spanish colonial city of Pedro de Valdivia to a modern, vibrating hub in Latin America.
Stroll through the maze of fruit, vegetable and meat stalls at La Vega, admire the art-nouveau London train station style construction of the fish market Mercado Central and let yourself be led through the city. Appreciate the neo-classical Moneda Palace (seat of the government), the Plaza de Armas (main square) and the Santa Lucia Hill.
You can enjoy a delicious lunch in an exquisite gourmet wine restaurant with plenty of opportunities to taste some sips (or more) of Chile’s famous wines! The wine bar has an amazing selection of different wines, all from Chile and you can taste small glasses of pre-selected "reds" or "whites" accompanied by tapas. The wines can be enjoyed by the glass or in thematic wine tastings which will take you through Chile and show you the new viticulture trends.
After lunch, indulge in the bohemian ambiance of the Bellavista neighbourhood where you will have the possibility to spend some leisure time shopping, visit the Cerro San Cristobal Hill or have dinner in one of the many restaurants.
