Tour Overview
Discover the Pic Saint-Loup in all its splendour on this classic hike before rewarding yourself with a tasting some of the local wines of the region.
For hikers, climbing the Pic Saint-Loup is one of the must-dos in the region. You will depart from Montpellier at 10am with your guide and travel to a well preserved medieval village just 30 minutes away.
You will then head to Cazevielle, the starting point of the walk. After about 1h to 1h30 of regular climbing of the southern face, your efforts will be rewarded with an unforgettable view of the valley and the cliff of the "hortus" mountain. At the top soak up the scenery and enjoy a picnic break before starting the descent (45 min to 1h).
In the afternoon prolong the discovery of this fabulous terroir with a visit and tasting at a family estate. You will discover the cellar, learn about the specificity of this excellent wine region and taste their range of wines.
