Tour Overview
The most famous Italian dessert, loved worldwide, is tiramisu. There could be no better place to learn how to make this delicious dessert than in Rome, under the watchful eye of a professional pastry-chef.
Before your tiramisu class, you will learn all about another popular Italian food: gelato. Your guide will explain the difference between gelato and ice-cream, and how to select the best gelato places. There will be a fun 'gelato game' and, of course, a tasting session.
Then it is time for tiramisu. Your tiramisu class will teach you all the secrets to making an authentic tiramisu, from baking the biscuits to the final taste. The class will take one hour and will take place in the kitchen of a tiramisu shop owned by a professional chef.
The tour finishes with sampling of different versions of tiramisu, including your own creation, and you’ll receive the recipes to make gelato again when back home. You will also receive a Certificate of Attendance, and a list of favourite places to eat in Rome.
