4-Day Private Gastronomy and Wine Tour

Spend four days discovering the wines and gastronomic delights of Puglia with a private driver. Starting in Bari this itinerary takes in the cliff-edged town of Polignano a Mare and the tiny town of Alberobello with its traditional Trulli huts, with wine tasting, salumi sampling and a cooking class along the way.

Day 1: Bari and Alberobello
Upon arrival at Bari airport, meet your private driver who will take you to your trullo in Alberobello. Free time to visit the trulli town and welcome dinner in a traditional restaurant.

Day 2: Martina Franca and Locorotondo
After breakfast, your driver will take you to a family-owned Salumi factory to learn how the famous Capocollo di Martina Franca and other local salumi delicacies are produced. After a light lunch at the factory, you will be driven to a winery near Locorotondo where you will meet the owner, visit the winery and enjoy local wines in a cozy relaxed atmosphere. Visit Locorotondo at sunset, enjoying its white alleys and a breathtaking sunset over the Itria Valley. Your driver will then drive you back to your accommodation.

Day 3: Conversano and Polignano
After breakfast, your driver will take you to Conversano to experience a cooking class in a local family-owned Masseria. Enjoy your time at the Masseria, learn how to cook Puglian delicacies and take your time to relax between the millenary olive trees. After lunch at the Masseria, you will be driven to Polignano to enjoy a walk in the pretty narrow streets of the village with its balconies overlooking the sea. Free time to enjoy a gelato, or the “caffè speciale” made only in Polignano a Mare. Then your driver will take you back to your accommodation.

Day 4: Bari
After breakfast, your driver will take you to the airport to catch your flight back home.

Please note: A three day package is also possible, and would miss out Day 3 of the above. The tour runs from June 16th to September 14th and the cost is an additional 500 EUR/couple.
