Tour Overview
This tour is a generous immersion in the fairy-tale atmosphere of the Valle di’Itria, an inland area of Puglia where the family-run farm and winery called Trulli il Castagno produces excellent natural wines.
The tour has as its starting point the Trulli il Castagno winery, in the countryside between Locorotondo and Alberobello. From here begins a bike ride through a network of quiet roads dotted with trulli, vineyards, ancient oaks and small groves, stopping in the historic towns of Alberobello and Locorotondo, then returning to the winery to enjoy the tasting.
The stops
Alberobello is a picturesque town consisting of stone houses with a pointed, cone-shaped roof and small up-and-down streets, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Locorotondo is a pretty and well-kept village full of flowery alleys and white houses, where it is pleasant to stroll around and enjoy the view that its balcony offers over the entire Itria Valley.
Winery and tasting
Once back in the rural area, at Trulli il Castagno, a visit to the vineyards and a pleasant outdoor tasting begins, with panoramic views of the hills and vineyards. You will be welcomed directly by the owners of the house who prepare a delicious aperitif with homemade products to accompany the delicious natural wines produced.
Transfer to the winery is not included but can be booked upon request.

The meeting point is Trulli il Castagno (Martina Franca), a beautiful winery in the unspoiled countryside of Valle d'Itria.
