You will visit the villages of Mamoiada and Orgosolo, located in Sardinia’s mountainous Barbagia area, in the middle of the island.
Learn about Mamoiada’s tradition of making carnival masks at the Museum of Mediterranean Mask which explains men and women’s lives in this territory, and visit the workshop of Franco Sale and his laboratory where he creates the mystic black mask of Mamuthones.
Enjoy a cheese tasting before a visit to a small vineyard with a scenographic nuraghe, where you will taste Cannonau wine and enjoy a delicious homemade lunch in the vineyard.
In the afternoon, visit Orgosolo and discover the history of murales. You will have the opportunity to meet some important inhabitants of the village who are making the history of this characteristic mountain village.
