Depart Florence and travel to the enchanted Chianti hills. Blessed with a mild climate, bright sunshine, and bountiful soil, this area provides the ideal conditions to grow vines and produce some of the world’s finest wines.
Led by a knowledgeable guide, and dedicated sommeliers at the wineries, you will have the chance to dive into the region’s wine producing history and tradition. You will view the cellars of three different wine havens that specialise in the production of Super Tuscans: two renowned local wineries plus a small boutique one.
During the day you will have the opportunity of mastering the facts about wine including what makes a blend a Chianti Classico or a Super Tuscan; learning how to pair wine with food and understanding the different approaches and techniques the vintners use.
