5-Day Umbria Wine Package

Itinerary:

Day 1: Upon your arrival at Fiumicino Airport, your personal driver will take you to the Wine Resort Agriturismo, where you will be greeted with refreshments. 

Enjoy the day walking and getting to know the estate. You will have dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: After breakfast your private driver will take you to Montefalco, the land of Sagrantino. Here you will visit one of the most renowned wineries. After the guided tour of the cellar, follow an easy path that winds its way from the cellar through vineyards, meadows and ponds, to find the perfect place to sit and enjoy a delicious picnic lunch surrounded by nature

In the afternoon, visit a farm that practices organic farming. Relax with a nice carriage ride through the vineyards and enjoy a wine tasting paired with typical local products.

Day 3: After breakfast, start the morning with a strangozzi and umbricelli pasta cooking class, typical Umbrian homemade pasta. After preparing it you will have the privilege of eating it for lunch paired with a nice glass of wine.

You will then relax for a few hours in the pool enjoying the Italian sun. 

In the afternoon have a nice walk among the vineyards and olive trees of the resort, and visit their cellar.

Day 4: Discover Torgiano, an ancient medieval village in the heart of Umbria synonymous with wine culture. Stroll through the streets of this wonderful village visiting the (MUVIT) - Museum of Wine and Oil (MOO), and then go to visit one of the best known wineries. 

In the afternoon discover the oldest artisan delicatessen in Umbria. Salami, capocollo, ham and above all, the wonderful porchetta (pork) seasoned with garlic, rosemary, fennel, salt and pepper, cooked slowly in the wood oven for several hours. You will have an unforgettable dinner.

Day 5: After breakfast, your driver will take you to the airport for   your flight home.
