Just a 20-minute drive from Verona, the Valpolicella wine region is one of the most famous and appreciated wine producing regions in Italy, renowned not only for Amarone wine but also Ripasso and sweet Recioto, the father of the Amarone wine!
During the day get an inside look at all the steps of the winemaking process, from fermentation to bottling. Complete the experience with a unique tasting of different vintages of Amarone.
One of the producers will offer a delectable extra virgin olive oil tasting.
Between vineyard and winery visits, enjoy a delicious, traditional lunch – of course, always paired with Valpolicella wine.
The afternoon winery visit offers a walk through the vineyards where you learn about different indigenous grape varieties of the Valpolicella wine region. Then you will have a wine tasting session, finishing with a grappa toast to end the day.
