Itinerary:

Day 1: Welcome to The Azores
Once you arrive at the airport you will be welcomed by your guide, so get ready to begin a getaway full of surprises and romance.

Transfer to your 4-star hotel in the city heart. Enjoy the rest of the day on your own to relax and immerse into this natural beauty.

Day 2: Whale watching & Cooking Class
After breakfast, you will start exploring the wonderful island of São Miguel (Azores).

First, enjoy a sightseeing tour where you will begin to discover the island's natural charms lurking around every turn. You will then arrive at the marina where, aboard a private boat and accompanied by experts, you will head to a secret whale watching spot!

The fauna of the oceans that bathe the Azores is something unforgettable; surprise yourself with a Dolphin coming to say “Hello!” to the boat or perhaps a huge curious turtle.

After this unique and magical experience, continue to a cooking class where, with the help of a local chef, you will learn the secrets of one of the most famous dishes of São Miguel Island: Cozido das Furnas!

At the end of the afternoon, prepare your Cozido so that, the day after, in the early morning, it will be placed inside the earth where, with the help of the volcanic heat so characteristic of São Miguel, it will cook for about 6 hours.

Day 3: A Jeep tour into the wild nature
After a leisurely morning, you will be picked up at the hotel in a Jeep to begin a tour of the unknown roads of São Miguel Island.
Starting in Ponta Delgada and heading to the scenic country roads that run the entire island, this sightseeing tour will be punctuated by a few stops in known places, small viewpoints where you can observe the wonder that surrounds it.

Upon arrival in Furnas, you will be amazed by the mystery of an active volcano and hear the local stories while enjoying your Furnas Cozido, which you prepared the day before.

In the afternoon, take some time to explore the area (if you prefer you can join a hiking or biking activity), as well as visiting the village of Ribeira Quente where, if the weather permits, you can take a dip at the beach.

For dinner choose between a traditional restaurant with a chef twist or a restaurant known for having the best and freshest fish on the island.

Day 4: A market tour and the tea fields
Start the day with a visit to the Ponta Delgada market, full of local, colorful and tasteful products. Continue the journey on foot, wandering around the city in a walk & food tour that turns into a progressive lunch, in which you will taste some of the best known delicacies of the Azores, and pass by the most iconic places of Ponta Delgada.

In the afternoon, head to the magnificent Lagoa do Fogo, the highest point and at the same time the lowest point of São Miguel island. On your return to Ponta Delgada, stop at Gorreana's factory and tea fields, one of the oldest in Europe and a unique experience.

Day 5: The Seven Cities Lagoon & fire crater
Today, after breakfast, you will be picked up and driven to the Seven Cities Lagoon and the Fire Crater. Along the way to the highest point of the Seven Cities, you can embrace all the splendour of the two craters that, side by side, show waters of different colours and are lined with dramatic and imposing cliffs.

This is the place where you will also have lunch, a picnic full of regional produce and one of the best and most iconic views on the island.

In the afternoon enter in the wine world of the Azores where you can visit a family wine estate and taste their wines in a commented wine tasting.

You will then return to the hotel where you will have some time to relax.

Day 5: Goodbye Azores!
Enjoy a relaxing morning at the hotel or have your own time in the city before flying back home.
