In this handpicked tour, you will get the chance to get to know not only the history of two important and family-owned wineries, but also how they produce and age their Port and DOC Douro wines. Understand how the effects of the region's climate and rich soil influence the grapes, learn about the special storage techniques that result in these distinctive flavors and hear about the preparation of both unfortified and fortified wines.
Throughout the day, you will be passing by some of the most beautiful viewpoints and sceneries of Douro, as well as some local villages. Douro is the region in the world with the most vineyards planted on mountains and this will surely be an unforgettable sight!
