This driving tour begins with a breathtaking drive along the Atlantic Ocean, passing the Cheese Castle (Castelo de Queijo), the trendy Foz district, the Arrábida Bridge (Ponte da Arrábida).
Arriving to the UNESCO centre you will visit the witness the Sé Cathedral, Bolhão Market, Santa Catarina shopping street, Clérigos Church and Tower, Lello Bookshop, São Bento Train Station and the Stock Exchange Palace, finishing at the trendy riverside Ribeira Esplanade. Here you will enjoy a traditional Portuguese lunch in one of the most scenic parts of the city.
After lunch, you will cross the symbolic Douro River on the Eiffel inspired Dom Luis Bridge to Vila Nova de Gaia, where you will visit a famous port wine cellar for a tour and tasting, learning all about the production, harvesting and transporting of this world famous drink.
Next, drive along Boavista Avenue, the longest avenues in Portugal, where you will see the award-winning "Casa da Música" (House of Music - Concert Hall) and witness some remarkable manor homes lining this picturesque avenue.
