Tour Overview
Escape to Serbia’s famous wine region on this full-day tour from Belgrade. Taste regional varietals at two different wineries in Vrsac and Deliblato, learn about the winemaking process during guided tours of vineyards and barrel rooms, and savor the area’s gourmet culture with a stop for lunch.
Vrsac and Deliblato vineyards belong to the South Banat wine area in the Vojvodina province. This area is located in the south east of Vojvodina and borders the Danube in the south, and Vrsac mountains in the north and Romania on the east.
Upon meeting your guide in Belgrade, drive to Deliblato Sands village. Visit the Galot winery, a new modern family winery which officially started producing wine in 2011. In the 20 hectares, in the black sand, grow up Sauvignon Blanc, Tamjanika, Traminer, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Blaufrankisc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Galot Winery is one of the few producers of sparkling wines in Serbia, and you will be able to try some of them, as well as other strong wines paired with traditional snaks.
Next, travel to the Gudurica area, the largest producer of white wine in the Habsburg Monarchy. Here you will visit the Nedin winery, a small, exotic, family winery. Enjoy a delicious lunch of local specialties in the winery's restaurant paired with delicate white and red wines.
