If you're interested in exploring the Stellenbosch wine region but are short on time this half day cycling tour is for you!
In just three hours the tour manages to pack in a memorable cycling experience by steering you through scenic vineyards on private wine farms, stopping off for two tastings on route. It's a teasing introduction to the most well-known wine producing region of South Africa.
The tour kicks off at the Skilpadvlei Wine Estate. Deriving its name from the legendary tortoise colony discovered in the vlei in the 1800s, the Skilpadvlei Wine Estate is in the heart of the Cape Winelands. From Merlot and Shiraz to Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc, this fifth-generation wine farm has some of the best cultivars in the region. Indulge in wine tastings and soak up the stunning surrounding views. You will also have the opportunity to explore the picturesque gardens of Neethlingshof Wine Estate on your second leg of this Stellenbosch bicycle wine tour. The award-winning boutique wine farm is renowned for its short story collection of premium wines
