Tour Overview
In Sweden, naturally healthy food can be found just around the corner, in forests, lakes and meadows.
Next to Gothenburg, in the culturally-protected nature reserve of the 18th century estate Gunnebo House and Gardens, you will enjoy and unforgettable dinner amongst the trees at a beautiful oak table part of Sweden’s Edible Country initiative.
The experience includes a private chef, welcome cocktails including produce picked freshly from the garden, a guided foraging tour, a 4-course dinner cooked over open fire paired with some carefully selected organic beverages, coffee and sweets inspired from the forest.
The ever changing seasonal menu is inspired by the four elements and consists only of natural ingredients from Gunnebo House and Gardens’ kitchen gardens, complemented by produce harvested from the local area's best organic farms.
As you traverse the grounds on the way to the table, you’ll pick herbs and learn more about the way they harvest, prepare and serve food at Gunnebo House and Gardens from your knowledgeable guide. You’ll then dine amongst the flora and fauna.
We of course cannot control the weather and the wind so be sure to dress appropriately for the time of year.
