Tour Overview
Situated on the northeast shores of Lake Geneva, the terraced vineyards of Lavaux form Switzerland’s largest vineyard area and have been designated a UNESCO Heritage Site. It is the perfect destination for a wine tasting tour.
Explore the area and discover the wines on this half day, small group tour, accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide. As you drive, the guide will explain the history of the area whilst you enjoy the panoramic scenic views of picturesque villages, vineyard after vineyard and the beautiful Lake Geneva.
The minibus features a retractable glass roof to maximise the views and is designed so that every person on the bus benefits from a window seat. Stops will be made along the way for photographic opportunities.
During the tour you will visit one of the region’s wineries. Learn what makes the wines from Lavaux distinctive and enjoy a wine tasting accompanied with a charcuterie board. Return to Lausanne / Montreux around 3pm
