Tour Overview
Discover one of Scotland’s finest distilleries and enjoy a ‘Hauf and a Hauf’ on this afternoon tour!
Your tour will depart from George Square in Glasgow and head north towards Stirling to your first stop, Deanston Distillery. Prior to beginning production of its whisky in 1965, Deanston Distillery used to be a cotton mill, and through the distillery tour here, you will be able to see its remarkable journey from heavy industry to joyous whisky making before enjoying two Drams of its finest produce yourself.
After this, the tour will head to the town of Camelon, where you will find the now silent Rosebank Distillery and the world-renowned Falkirk Wheel. You will head to the Canal Inn which is a truly traditional Scottish pub that has been around since the 1820s and is locally known as ‘The War Office’. Here you will enjoy a ‘Hauf and a Hauf’ – a classic Dram of whisky with a half pint beer chaser, before heading back to Glasgow.
Please note this tour is only available on Monday afternoons, however, there is an identical tour listed separately for Monday mornings.
