Tour Overview
This tour of the Carneros region of Sonoma will lead you to three of the finest boutique wineries. The soil of the Carneros region is ideally suited to growing Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling and Merlot. These wineries and wines truly represent the unique terroir of this region.
First you will visit Schug Winery. Founded in 1980 by Walter Schug, formerly of Joseph Phelps Vineyards, the winery is found in the Carneros region and specialises in world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Next you will be welcomed to Peter Cellars, a boutique family winery producing high-quality wines that combine the unique terroir and fruit characteristics of this Sonoma estate with old-world French winemaking techniques.
The third stop of the day will be at Scribe Winery in Sonoma, which produces vibrant, terroir-driven wines. The winery, founded in 2007 on a property that pioneered pre-prohibition Sonoma Valley winemaking, is managed by fourth-generation California farmers and brothers Andrew and Adam Mariani.
This is a fully customisable Sonoma wine tour with an experienced and knowledgable wine guide. If there are alternative wineries you would like to visit just let your guide know.
