Discover Kingston Family Vineyards, a boutique winery located in Chile's Casablanca Valley on the farm that has been in the family for more than a century.

In the early 1900s, mining engineer Carl John Kingston left his home in Michigan looking for gold in Chile. While he never found his fortune in gold, his search yielded a cattle ranch in Casablanca Valley, just 12 miles from the Pacific. Five generations later, his descendants are showing the same pioneering spirit on “The Farm”. But instead of prospecting for gold, they’re exploring new frontiers in Chilean winemaking.

Growing red wine grapes in a valley known for white wines, Kingston Family Vineyard has been called “one of the area’s most promising producers”.

Today, Kingston Family Vineyards has been recognised as "among the best wineries in Chile" (Stephen Tanzer) and for "making some of Chile's best pinots" (Food & Wine).

In 2011, the Kingstons were chosen to host a James Beard dinner in New York City, and named "Winery of the Year" by Wine & Spirits Magazine. Their wines have been featured on wine lists at top restaurants including "Jean Georges" in New York, "Boulevard" in San Francisco, and the "Four Seasons" in London.

Kingston Family Vineyards blends the best of the Old and New World winemaking as they handcraft small-production lots of Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Sauvignon Blanc from the cool climate, hillside vineyards in Casablanca Valley. While coastal Casablanca is mostly known for its whites, they are pioneering the introduction of cool-climate reds.

Kingston Vineyards is one of a handful of Chilean vineyards leveraging Californian viticulture and winemaking expertise to uncover the potential of the Chilean terroir.

The winery offers tours and tastings at the winery in addition to hosting large private events.

Our guides will provide a comprehensive tour, sharing the history of the farm and how the family settled here. As you tour our vineyards you will learn about our conversion to organic farming, see the vineyards up close and learn about the history of the Casablanca Valley.

Following the tour of the vineyard, the visit continues through the winery. We explain our winemaking philosophies and everything we do from the grapes being hand-picked to the final product: our premium wines.

Once the tour is over, we invite visitors to a tasting that focuses on explaining the profiles of the wines, from flavor, terroir and wine aging techniques. The tasting includes five wines, usually our Cariblanco Sauvignon Blanc, Sabino Chardonnay, Tobiano Pinot Noir, and Lucero Syrah, all perfectly paired with local cheeses and artisan chocolates.

Our guides will provide a comprehensive tour, sharing the history of the farm and how the family settled here. As you tour our vineyards and learn about our conversion to organic farming, you'll get an up-close look at the vineyards and learn about the history of the Casablanca Valley and how the family decided to plant grapes. Following the tour of the vineyard, the visit continues through the winery. We explain our winemaking philosophies and everything we do from the grapes being hand-picked in the vineyard to the final product: our premium wines.

Upon returning to the tasting room, visitors will be able to choose the wine of their choice to accompany the picnic basket that includes a variety of cheeses, charcuterie, fresh fruit, nuts, olives, crackers and artisan bread. During this portion of the experience, guests can spend as long as they like while taking in the stunning view of our new tasting room.

Lunch consists of a four-course experience perfectly paired with our wines. The menu varies seasonally, with most ingredients sourced locally on a farm-to-table basis. Our team can accommodate any dietary restrictions that prevent the consumption of gluten, dairy products, pescetarians, vegans, vegetarians, etc. Depending on preferences, we will prepare a menu and wine pairing to showcase the best of local cuisine, and of course, our wines.
