Winery Overview
Familia Zuccardi is a family-run winery which was founded in the 1960s by Engineer, Alberto Zuccardi. Alberto began planting vines in Maipú (a province of Mendoza) experimenting with an irrigation system of his own creation based on a method used in California.
Forty five years after the starting point of this path, there are three generations joined by a passion for wine. In September 2007, Decanter magazine acknowledged José Alberto and Sebastián Zuccardi as being among the five most influential personalities of Argentine Wine.
Since November 2001, Casa del Visitante at Familia Zuccardi has been showcasing its secrets within the world of wine. A visit here allows you to unearth the winemaking development starting from bud break in the vineyards to the final sip of the glass. Each year, more than 40,000 people visit and enjoy the incredible wines, the variety of tourist programs and the tow restaurants in the vineyards.
