Traditional Wine Tasting at Decugnano dei Barbi

The activity is only available prior to a visit of the beautiful Estate.
A qualified guides will take you through a journey of understanding each step of winemaking in an extraordinary historical setting. Ancient caves are still used for the production of Sparkling wine Traditional Method and the refinement in barrels of the estate's best red wine.
The wine tasting will take place in a XIII century Chapel, Saint Mary of Decugnano, restored by the family and overlooking Orvieto and the Umbrian valley.
It will be accompanied by a small selection of charcuterie and cheese.
You will taste three wines: The Spumante Brut Metodo Classico, Mare Antico (Orvieto Classico Superior Doc),
AD1212 (Umbria Igt).
