Quinta dos Termos Winery is a family wine estate producing wines in the D.O.C. Beira Interior Region. The winery is located in north-central Portugal, right beside Serra da Estrela, the biggest mountain of continental Portugal.

About the winery
The winery features a terroir of its own that marks in a lasting way the wines produced here. Quinta dos Termos owns a unique micro-climate of poor soils that naturally discipline the most productive varietals, yet corrected with bunch prunning before the midsummer day. Some of the typical grape varieties of Beira Interior are cultivated here, such as Touring National, Trincadeira, Jaen, Rufete, Marufo, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cao, Alfrocheiro Preto, Baga, Siria, and Fonte Cal. Also, a few international grape varieties are cultivate, starting with Syrah, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese, and Riesling.
Quinta dos Termos is certified in Integrated Crop Management, endowed with sophisticated technology, it follows the traditional techniques of winemaking and which are promoted by respected oenologists in the world of wine.
The ageing of wine is done in French oak barrels (Allier extra fine) or Hungarian (fine) according to the grape varietals and the final destination of the wine.
The results of nature's excellence in combination with rigorous analytic control is a wine able to charm even the most icy hearts.
The winery uses traditional and historical methods in their cellar combined with the modern and latest technology and winemaking equipment to produce the best possible wines in Portugal and worldwide. Annually, the estate has a production of 800,000 bottles of wines ranging from the entry-level to premium, rare wines.
