Winery Overview

At Waterford Estate, they have chosen to use only half of the total 120 hectares of land for the planting of vines in order to preserve and maintain the natural fauna and flora on the Estate.

The Estate is owned by the Ord Family and developed under the watchful eye of Kevin Arnold, Cellar Master and Managing Partner, since 1998.

Waterford Estate winery offers a relaxing setting where guests can sit and enjoy various tasting options including a Wine Safari and a Wine and Chocolate Pairing.

With the wine cellar built surrounding the courtyard, guests can observe the workings of the winery and get a true feel for the winemaking process without disrupting the tranquillity of their tasting.

The Library Collection takes a look back at the story of where the wine style comes from. This tasting is a way of expressing internal wine interests, from different grape varietals to unique viticultural sites.

The Wine and Chocolate Tasting is a unique flavour experience. Kevin Arnold together with, Chocolatier, Richard von Geusau have created a series of dark and milk chocolates that, when paired with the Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Natural Sweet wine, results in a flavour sensation, unlike any other.
