Winery Overview

Fattoria La Maliosa is a 160-hectare farm in the Maremman hills made up of arable lands, vineyards, olive trees and forests. It produces natural wines, extra virgin olive oil and honey.

The farm has held both organic and biodynamic certifications since 2010, reflecting a continued commitment over time. It’s here that Antonella Manuli has implemented a project based on quality, beauty and environmental wellbeing with complete respect for the territory and its originality.

Enjoy unique tasting experiences among its own vineyards and olive groves, in the pristine nature of the hilly Maremma. For natural wines and extra virgin olive oil lovers, it’s possible to book guided tours through the vineyards and olive groves, trekking, yoga, tastings, e-bike tours, cellar tours, picnics and personalized experiences. The ability to take advantage of the wide open-air spaces all year round allows La Maliosa to guarantee total security and privacy in every experience offered. Tours and experiences at La Maliosa are always available by reservation, year-round.

For ecotourism and outdoor lovers La Maliosa offers a unique experience, the only StarsBOX in Tuscany, among the vineyards of Monte Cavallo, with breathtaking sunsets and a starry sky, one of the least lit in Italy. A bit of a refuge, a bit of a comfortable shelter that opens onto nature, the Maliosa StarsBOX is open all year round.

You can also find here the first Big Bench in the Grosseto Area. It’a large bench, from which you can admire the hilly Maremma landscape.

We will wait for you at Podere Santa Francesca, the main property of the organic farm, where you can find our welcoming tasting room and a large space equipped for open-air tastings. After a short walk around the farm to admire the entire property from a panoramic point and a visit in the cellar, we will offer the tasting of two of our natural wines. These are served with a selection of typical local products, including cheeses, cold cuts and tuscan bread. You can also taste our precious organic evo oils. The tasting will be conducted by an expert and afterwards it will be possible to buy our products.

Our StarsBOX "Maliosa" is the new one. It has a beautiful view on the Maremma hills and the vineyards and olive groves of the Farm. It includes a picnic for 2 people with local products, a bottle of our natural wine and the EVO oil tasting with tuscan bread. Nature and relax for an original experience in Maremma toscana!

Have a relaxing experience into the nature

Two hours before sunset you will arrive among the historic olive trees of La Maliosa on Monte Cavallo, about 200 meters above sea level. Here you can enjoy the last hours of sunshine in the olive grove and admire the sunset from our StarsBOX, a wooden micro cabin, with a sunroof and a comfortable tatami inside. The view from here is breathtaking, you can admire the entire hilly Maremma, the village of Montemerano, the Argentario coasts and the island of Giglio.

You will have a picnic basket for you and your partner, to taste our organic products, including a bottle of natural wine, waiting for the sunset in total relaxation, in an environment where privacy and security are guaranteed.You can lie comfortably on the tatami and let yourself be lulled by the sounds of Maremma nature, under one of the darkest skies in Italy. The experience can last as long as you like. There is neither water nor electricity, therefore it is equipped with a chemical bathroom with toilet, there is no sink or shower.
