Winery Overview
Discover Terre del Bruno Winery, a historic winery surrounded by a medieval hamlet, in Chianti, Tuscany.
Terre del Bruno is a winery with two inseparable strands, tied together by the value of the Diddi’s family: the love for their land - Chianti and Tuscany - and the respect for the extraordinary work that is always behind a good wine.
Terre del Bruno is the backbone of Fattoria Pogni, the true heart of this winery. A soul, grounded into this land like the vines planted in this territory. Terre del Bruno is a modern and dynamic company, with the courage to renew itself over time and transform a great tradition such as winemaking in Chianti, in a vocation for quality.
The company was born from the union of two families, who owned land near the ancient village of Pogni in the 60s, and who were already involved in the production of wine from generations before.
Today the Diddi brothers and their mother Lorella run the company with the support of collaborators both for the wine production and for the Resort, still enlivened by that love from which everything began.
The most representative vineyards of Terre del Bruno are Nappolaio and Le More Nere. Nappolaio is the oldest vineyard of the company, exposed to the south, and its soil is mainly composed of galestro. Le More Nere is a vineyard planted exclusively in Merlot. Its soil is tuffaceous and it is located around the town of Marcialla. From this vineyard, the homonymous single grape wine is produced.
Terre del Bruno wines proudly carry the knowledge of winemaking and the taste of Chianti and Tuscany everywhere in the world.
