Chateau Pape Clement

Discover Château Pape Clément, located in Pessac, in the heart of the Graves Vineyards.

Built in the neo-gothic style, the chateau is surrounded by 32 hectares of vines. Thousand year old olive trees grow in the garden, as well as an impressive cedar of Lebanon towers.

Inside, the reception rooms radiate elegance, with waxed wood panelling, a harp, a harpsichord, portrait galleries, a private art collection, scented candles and an imposing wooden staircase.

Guests will enjoy an unforgettable stay in one of the two classical rooms and three Suites. The rooms are comfortable and uniquely furnished with pieces dating back to the 19th century, Baccarat chandeliers, bathrooms made of marble and beautiful views on the park and the vineyards.

Meals will be served in the beautiful and cosy dining rooms, under chandeliers, among the exceptional collections of the owner and the aging furniture. Breakfast will be served in the Louis XV - style room, bathed in sunlight, looking out over the gardens, vines and the Eiffel Glasshouse. The private dining room is an intimate, refined room with 18th century charm and peaceful views of the vineyard.

The Château also boasts an on-site, state-of-the-art winery which hosts tours of the vineyards as well as wine tastings. 

Wine lovers will enjoy historical presentations, visits of the vat-house, the barrel cellar and the vault and wine tastings of the finest vintages with the cellar masters.
