Borgo Casa al Vento is a charming medieval hamlet in the heart of Chianti, few miles away from Siena in the beautiful district of Gaiole in Chianti, surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and wood.

The “Borgo” was wisely restored with great taste by the Gioffreda family and is now a Country Resort, an ideal place for lovers of wellness, nature, authentic food and great wines.

The highlight of Casa al Vento is the tiny and exclusive wellness area that offers wine and chocolate bath and body cares based on products extracted by the grapes.

The restaurant is in an ancient cave in medieval style and the chef prepares every day a typical menu based only on local ingredients. Visiting guests who love cooking can also attend cooking classes. 

Casa al Vento offers large and comfortable apartments featuring typical architectonic solutions, and pretty rooms or romantic suites with private garden.

Small groups can stay in the splendid and independent villa at a walking distance from the hamlet.

Casa al Vento also boasts an on-site winery known for its organic wines and for the famous labels of Aria and Foho that have received awards and accolades in the last few years. Wine lovers can visit the winery and enjoy wine tastings.
