Tour Overview
If you are staying in Cape Town and are short on time, this half-day wine tasting tour is the one for you!
Your private guide is an experienced winemaker and will be able to answer any questions you may have about the wines of the region.
You will be picked up from your accommodation in Cape Town and driven to Diemersdale, a winery in Durbanville, for a wine tasting and gastronomic lunch.
During your tour you will learn all about the history of wines in South Africa: the vines, viticulture and how the different styles of wines are produced, how they compare and of course how they taste. It's an excellent introduction to the wines of the region.
At the end of the tour you will be returned to your accommodation in Cape Town.
