Tour Overview
Discover McLaren Vale cycling through forests, rolling vineyards with ocean views, and visit local cellar doors with this full-day wine and cycle tour. You will be picked up in central Adelaide in the morning and transferred to the start point, where you will be fitted out with a good quality bike and helmet. Cycle from McLaren Vale town coasting on the off road, safe and largely flat Shiraz Rail Trail amongst scenic vineyards and local produce stops.
Having warmed up, it's time for refreshments, and after teasing your tastebuds with vineyards all around you, you will stop at cellar doors for wine tastings. Based on time and the riding abilities of the group, a min or 2 (often more) wineries will be visited. Enjoy a delicious lunch of an exclusive local produce platter at a "secret" location. The day concludes with transportation back to Adelaide. Vehicle support is included and any purchases and exhausted riders can be collected. There is the option to take a dip at the beach to cool off on warm summer days.
