Tour Overview
Whether Croatian wines are new to you, or you are a regular drinker of wines from the region, this 6-day private wine tour is an excellent opportunity to discover the Dalmatian vineyards and learn more about the indigenous wines produced here.
As well as meeting the winemakers and sampling their produce you will visit 2000 year old cities and breath-taking National Parks, and there will be plenty of time to taste the delicious local cuisine.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Upon your arrival to Split, Sibenik or Zadar area, you will visit two small village wineries and enjoy a delicious lunch at a village estate. Discover the Krka waterfalls National Park and spend the night in Split.
Day 2: You will have the morning free in Split.
In the afternoon, visit a winery in Kastela village, famous as the birthplace of Zinfandel. Enjoy a nice dinner at the second winery on the mountain slopes dating back to 1720. You will be tasting wines not available anywhere else, and visit the Biblical Garden. Spend the night in Split.
Day 3: Drive to Imotski region and visit the Red and Blue Lake.
Today you will discover two village wineries and have lunch at a family estate. Spend the night in a hotel in the Neretva river region.
Day 4: Drive to the wine growing Peljesac peninsula region where you will visit 3 wineries and taste a variety of wines including the world famous Dingac wine served to the English Queen.
You will have dinner at a wine hotel in Peljesac, where you will also spend the night.
Day 5: Visit two wineries in Peljesac, have lunch at a village estate and drive to Dubrovnik where you will spend the night.
Day 6: You will have the morning free to discover Dubrovnik on your own.
In the afternoon, visit two wineries in the Konavle region and enjoy a farewell dinner at a village estate before departure.
