This luxury overnight break with wine tasting offers wine lovers the chance to escape to this French chateau for a true wine experience.
It is the perfect base for exploring the nearby wineries and the villages of Verdun and Nancy, enjoying nature walks in the surrounding area, trying water sports on Lac de Madine, or visiting historic sites from World War I.
Upon arrival you will be served tea or coffee and a selection of delicious gâteaux as you relax and unwind in this beautiful setting.
Next comes the wine tasting! With your expert host, you’ll try a selection of Alsatian, Burgundy or Tuscan wines, tasting 8 in total. You’ll get an explanation of the wines and their flavours as you discuss your findings with your host. In the winter, enjoy your tasting in the castle’s impressive dining room, sat in front of their cosy fireplace; in summer, move outside and enjoy the views of the beautiful gardens.
For dinner there is the option to dine on a three or four course meal and sample the best of French cooking!
