Start the day with a morning coffee of your choice at one of Rome’s most beloved cafés while your local food and wine expert explains the history and secrets of Italian-made coffee.
Visit a market and learn about seasonal foods and also the local cucina povera. You'll stop in at a local forno, where bread has been made by the same family for decades, to try some delicious pizza bianca.
A visit to the Jewish Ghetto will allow you to discover how a culture that has been a part of Rome for hundreds of years still has a tremendous influence on the cuisine of the city today. You'll get to sample either carciofi alla giudia or fritti misti depending on the season.
Next comes a stop in a cheese shop to taste artisanal cheeses accompanied by a wine tasting of both white and red wine.
After a morning filled with trying local foods, pasties, olive oil and more, you'll finish this delicious and delectable tour with a gelato.
Your tour guide's mission is to serve guests the best local, organic and seasonal foods made with the finest ingredients. Their aim is to support local producers and farmers, prompting them to choose their tour locations based on relationships with providers who guarantee guests will experience the best in Roman food culture.
PLEASE NOTE: Group tours must consist of a minimum of 2 people and run on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Private tours run every day except Sundays and the price is for two people. If you want to add more people to a private tour, you can pay an additional fee of €75.

Cancellation Policy
There is a €20 service fee per person for cancellations made before 15 days before the tour. Within 4-6 days of tour, cancellation will result in a 25% refund. Tours cannot be cancelled within 72 hours. Entrance fees cannot be refunded (as per policy of sites). Vatican tour times/dates cannot be changed If there is some sort of emergency or travel issues, the operator can try to change tour dates and times, but only if they are advised within 48 hours. They have a 10-minute waiting policy. Late shows will not be given the extra time at the end of the tour, and no-shows will not be refunded. Start time is agreed on at time of booking.
