Tour Overview
Discover the northern slopes of the highest active volcano in Europe with this Mount Etna wine tasting tour.
First stop will be the “honey towns” of Zafferana Etnea. Breathe the peaceful life of one of the most beautiful villages at the feet of the Volcano, famous for the honey production. In one of these enchanting locations, you will be offered a delicious honey tasting to start the day on the right foot!
Next, you will visit a winery dating back to 1835, full of history and tradition. You will meet an expert sommelier who will introduce you to the world of Etna wines. Learn the story behind the wine production, from the time of the pruning, to the harvest, through to the fermentation and aging. Finally, you will taste four different Etna wines: two red wines and two white wines, accompanied by Sicilian snacks.
The second winery you will visit is located in Linguaglossa, a small city on the north part of the volcano Etna. In the company of the friendly owner and your guide, you will visit the vineyards, the millstone, and walk around the barrels to learn about the tradition of wine production. The visit will end with a wine tasting of one red, one white and one rosé wine. The wines will be accompanied by a Sicilian lunch made with traditional dishes. You will eat green olives, salami, Sicilian cheese, bread, and the famous dish “Pasta alla norma”. The lunch will finish with a delicious dessert.

You can cancel the service free of charge up to 7 days before the date of the service.
We will charge 50% of the entire amount only in the case of cancellation without prior communication 7 days before the day of the service or in case of NO show the date of the service.
