3-Nights Luxury Wine Weekend in Kent in June

English wines are currently the talk of the wine industry, so there could be no better time to take a wine tasting holiday in Kent, one of the country’s up-and-coming wine-producing regions. Join this three-night luxury weekend break in June and you will have the opportunity to experience English wines first-hand.

Spend your days sampling the finest Kent wines, before returning to your luxury 5-star accommodation where there is plenty of time to relax whilst a private chef prepares a delicious meal centred around local produce to be carefully paired with local Kent wines selected by the in-house sommelier.  

Day 1: Upon your arrival, enjoy a welcome cream tea in your accommodation followed by time to relax and unwind.

Early afternoon you will attend a small reception with a glass of local fizz down by the pool to meet everyone and talk about the itinerary for the weekend.

Visit Biddenden Vineyard for a wine tasting of core wines with the addition of some exclusive award winning wines. You will taste 8 wines in total and learn about the history of the 3rd generation family run estate and production methods used at Biddenden.

In the evening drinks and canapés will be served in the loggia, before a delicious three course dinner and Kent wine pairings.

Day 2: You will have a breakfast basket delivered to your accommodation. You will then be picked up and taken to the Simpsons Wine Estate for a behind the scenes tour. Explore the winery and enjoy an extended tasting of their wines.
Enjoy a 3-course lunch in the bistro of the beautiful 12th century Lympne Castle, savour lunch on the terrace with some of the most stunning views over the Kent country side and coast line.

The afternoon and evening will be free to relax in your accommodation.

Day 3: After you enjoy the breakfast basket delivered to your accommodation, your driver will pick you up at 12 pm.

A nice lunch will be hosted at Herbert Hall overlooking the vineyard, with the option of charcuterie, cheese or vegetarian platter, made with delicious local produce served with freshly baked bread and crackers.
The wine tasting will include a flight of English sparkling wine, a vertical tasting of vintages, as well as time for a Q&A with the wine guide.

In the evening you will relax with drinks and canapés in the loggia, followed a farewell four course dinner and wine pairing, and a fun quiz to test what you have learned from the tours.

Day 4: After breakfast, check out of your accommodation by 11 am.

This weekend will operate in line with the UK government’s Coronavirus guidelines. Social distancing will be in place during meals and wine tasting sessions. Transportation between venues will be split into small groups to allow for social distancing and masks will be required to be worn in the vehicles. The journey times are no longer than 30 minutes.
