Discover Matetic Vineyards, an organic, biodynamic and sustainable winery nestled in the Rosario Valley.

The story of Matetic Vineyards began in 1999. Led by Jorge Matetic, fourth generation of the family in Chile, the family embraced the challenge of planting Syrah in a cool-climate location, becoming a pioneer project and developing a new category of coastal Syrah within the country.

With one goal in mind, that of crafting wines of the highest quality, practicing biodynamic and organic agriculture, to show the world wines born of an environment-respectful philosophy, Matetic Vineyards became one of the best cool-climate wineries, focusing on quality and excellence, crafting wines that show the great potential of coastal Chile.

The Matetic vineyards winery is a state-of-the-art winemaking facility, constructed so as to complement its glorious setting. In other words, harmony has been reached between the winery's organic agricultural practices and the natural landscape of the valley.

Wine lovers can visit the winery and learn about the different phases of wine production while appreciating stunning views of the vineyards and the beautiful Rosario Valley. Tours include an explanation of the biodynamic process that the winery employs to yield wines that truly express their origins.

Wine tastings of high-quality Matetic wines can be enjoyed in the wine cellar. Guests can also purchase wine, accessories, and a number of Chilean products in El Emporio store.

The winery has an on-site restaurant where wine guests can enjoy locally sourced produce serving Chilean cuisine.

Matetic also offers accommodation, as well as half and full board options, in their boutique hotel, La Casona. Built more than 100 years ago, this classical Chilean country home was fully renovated and decorated in 2004 to bring guests modern luxuries within an immersive environment.

For guests who are looking to stay active, the winery organises a number of excursions such as hiking, horseback riding and  bicycle riding.
