About the Château
The Château La Croizille is located on the hills of the Saint Emilion plateau, on one of the richest terroirs of the appellation. The 5 hectare vineyard includes different plots with important soil varieties and a high altitude which can reach 90 metres. The vineyard is planted with 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc.
The De Schepper's family, owner of the nearby Château Tour Baladoz for more than 6 decades, bought the Château La Croizille in 1996 in order to make exceptional wine, combining historical know-how with the latest technologies. With the completion of the new modern cellar of Château La Croizille in 2013, the family started its wine tourism activity in Saint-Emilion.
