Winery Overview
Discover Celler Arché Pagès, a family-owned winery located in the town of Capmany, an ideal place for feeling the tramuntana wind, touching the granite soil and discovering the landscape of Empordà in a glass.
Five generations of winegrowers have cultivated the estate’s 14 hectares of vineyards, in which mainly the indigenous varieties of the area are planted: Garnacha and Cariñena. The company exercises absolute control over the entire process, from pruning the vines to selling the wine.
This modern and dynamic winery offers visitors the chance to visit its facilities in the company of the winegrower and winemaker, to stroll through the vineyards and to taste wines with a distinctive personality (Sàtirs, Cartesius and Bonfill).
There's no better way of understanding and savouring a wine than treading, exploring and enjoying the land where it's made. Wine tastings at Celler Arché Pagès are a personalised experience, always accompanied by the winemaker himself. He will guide visitors through the vineyards to show them their layout, the quality of the soil and the effects of the climate. He will even demonstrate how all of that landscape can be concentrated into a bottle.
A hall with spectacular views over the property is the ideal place for tasting sessions of the Arché-Pagès wines and is also adaptable for presentations, meals, celebrations, introductory courses to winemaking, family gatherings, company events and so on, with a capacity for 22 people.
Enotourism at Celler Arché Pagès doesn't finish with wine. Wine is the starting point of an entire culture, a way of understanding life.
