Tour Overview
After breakfast, your private guide will pick you at your hotel in the morning either in a new VW Touran - today id an exciting day as you will discover one of the best wine regions in Slovenia, the, Vipava Valley.
Situated between two limestone plateaus that capture the whole of the Mediterranean climate, this hill has been cultivated with wines since Roman Times. Just after entering the Valley we will climb the High Plateau to start the day at the Golden Ring Boutique Cheese Dairy producer with a unique and impressive landscape, a delectable cheese tasting will be done combined with a selection of Local Vipava wines.
After this pairing of cheese and wine, we will drive to the Villa of Pod Nanos, the very end of the Viapava Valley by its highest mountain to taste the wine of one of our favourite wines wine producers. We will discover some of the much loved local wine varieties, and we will have the opportunity to compare them with international ones, paired with local charcuteries.
At the end of the experience, our guide will drive you back to Ljubljana.
