Tour Overview
This 2-day tour of the "Heroic Wines" of the Ribeira Sacra takes you to both growing and winemaking areas . The ones of the Miño and Sil rivers. We will visit 3 wineries each day of different sizes, but with an emphasis on the smaller ones and tasting their wines. The tour also includes a relaxing stay in a comfortable spa hotel, to relax after the first day.
The area has very nice viewpoints from which you can enjoy the views of the steep slopes filled with vineyards and the river views. The local gastronomy is also present for you to indulge in the dishes that are best mixed with their wines.
A great opportunity to discover this very nice area of the Spanish northwest, also known for having the best-preserved concentration of Romanesque-style monasteries.
On day one we will visit on our way the Monastery of Oseira to then continue to visit the wineries located in the Miño river. We will visit one in the morning and two, after lunch, in the afternoon. Then we will go to our spa hotel to relax and have dinner.
On day two, we will move to the Sil river to go on a riverboat and visit the area. Then, we will visit the first winery. After this, we´ll have lunch and later, we´ll visit some viewpoints before going to the next winery. At last, our tour will end and we´ll return back.
