Day 1. Arrive Portland
Upon arrival in Portland, your private guide will pick you up at the airport then escort you on tour of Portland's Distillery Row.
Portland boasts the largest concentration of craft distilleries in the world on Distillery Row. The distilleries that comprise “The Row” continually push themselves and each other to maintain a level of craftsmanship, quality, and creativity. This shared passion is what gives rise to an incredible array of spirits all created here within one city. From whisky, vodka, rum, and gin to the ever-expanding botanical realm of brandy, amaro, aquavit, and specialty bottled cocktails, the folks of Distillery Row have got it all! On this tour you'll visit three different distillery tasting rooms to learn the distilling process, hear the unique stories of the creators and sample for yourself these incredible spirits.
You'll be dropped off at your hotel for check in and enjoy dinner on own.
Day 2. Culinary Portland
In the morning you'll set off on culinary biking adventure followed by a private city tour with your guide which will include lunch at a local craft brewery. On this private morning bike tour you'll visit and sample from a craft coffee roaster and two iconic doughnut shops all while enjoying a ride through one of America's most bikable cities.
In the evening set off on a unique progressive dining experience. To get a true sense of the Portland food scene, this progressive dinner tour will take you to three different locations expereincing a mix of venues including an urban winery, trendy restaurant and an iconic Portland favorite - food carts! You'll enjoy a course at each location, while your host describes to the culinary culture of the city and why so many chefs are drawn to its creative energy.
Day 3. Willamette Valley
Take a break from the city and enjoy the countryside with your private guide as you set out to the Willamette Valley for a full-day wine tour.
The Willamette Valley is home to over 500 tasting rooms and vineyards and known for its excellent pinot noir. Wineries range from the intimate setting of a rustic boutique property to a large scale elegant tasting room with commanding panoramic views. Your private guide will orient you to the region and its unique characteristics with visits and tastings at three iconic local wineries. Lunch included.
Return back to your hotel in the late afternoon.
Day 4. Depart Portland
On your final day in Portland, your guide will take you out to the scenic Columbia River Gorge for a visit to Oregon's tallest waterfall followed by a stop at Cascade Locks where you'll see the native fishing grounds of the local tribe, sample native caught wild salmon and enjoy lunch at a craft brewery.
Your guide will then drop you off at the airport for your departure.
