On this privately guided journey you’ll hike coastal trails, enjoy an on-farm cooking class, bike through vineyards and taste superb wines as you move from the tide pools of the coast to the acclaimed vineyards of the Willamette Valley, then onward to iconic Mount Hood and the awe-inspiring Columbia Gorge, where the mighty Columbia River cuts through the Cascade Mountains.

ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrive in Portland
On arrival in Portland, Oregon, your private guide will pick you up from the airport or hotel and escort you 1.5 hours west to the Oregon coast. You'll check into your oceanfront accommodations in the charming town of Cannon Beach. This evening enjoy an interactive culinary experience for dinner.
Interactive Culinary Dinner Show: Chefs Lenore and Bob Neroni will bring the dining experience to life with a "three act" dinner show designed to both entertain and inspire you. Watch & learn, sip & dine as they showcase foods of the Pacific Northwest and challenge you to create more local flavours in your daily life! (Experience is open to the public, only available Wednesdays - Sundays)
Overnight in Cannon Beach
Day 2: Oregon Coast
Oregon’s coast is hauntingly beautiful, with dramatic rock monoliths protruding from the waters, sea lions basking in the caves, and hiking trails winding along spectacular coves and headlands. Today you'll explore these stunning landscapes with your personal guide and try your hand at foraging your own meal with an authentic crabbing experience and sample craft beer at one of the region's breweries. Return to town in the late afternoon and your evening is free at leisure.

Day 3: Oregon Coast / Willamette Valley
Depart your hotel and venture from the Oregon Coast to the Willamette Valley wine region. Depending on your interests you can continue to explore the coastline with several scenic hikes or make your way directly to the wineries of the Willamette Valley for a taste of world-class pinot noir (tasting fees not included). After checking into your accommodation in downtown McMinnville enjoy your evening culinary activity.
On-Farm Cooking Class & Dinner: Roll up your sleeves for an immersive on-farm cooking class where you'll learn to prepare a gourmet meal using local seasonal ingredients. During this 3-hour class you'll prepare a multi-course menu highlighting the bounty of produce from the Willamette Valley. Enjoy nibbles and wine along the way before digging into your culinary creation.
Overnight in McMinnville
Day 4: Willamette Valley
The Willamette Valley is home to over 500 tasting rooms and vineyards and known for its excellent pinot noir. Wineries range from the intimate setting of a rustic boutique property to a large scale elegant tasting room with commanding panoramic views. Your private guide will orient you to the region and its unique characteristics with visits and tastings at three iconic local wineries including a picnic lunch. Enjoy the free time in the late afternoon by exploring the boutiques in downtown McMinnville.
Upgrade your wine tour by adding in an exclusive activity such a helicopter flightseeing, elevated wine pairing lunch, horseback riding through the vineyards, kayaking or biking.

Day 5: Mt. Hood / Columbia Gorge
After check out, journey from the Willamette Valley up to Oregon's tallest peak, Mt. Hood, and spend the day exploring the mountain's historic and natural treasures. First stop will be Timberline Lodge, a National Historic Landmark and home to the only year-round skiing in North America. After touring around the historic lodge, we'll have lunch with stunning mountain range view at the lodge's onsite restaurant, specializing in local seasonal ingredients and Cascadian-style cuisine.
From there continue along the east side of Mt. Hood to the picturesque Hood River Valley, home to the "Fruit Loop" a collection of orchards, vineyards, farms, and lavender fields. You'll have the chance to stop at one of the many farms stands to sample local artisan products and try your hand at a u-pick experience gathering your own fruit from the orchards and farms in the area (available May-Oct). End the day in the charming town of Hood River.

Day 6: Columbia River Gorge
Head out on an adventurous bike tour exploring the wineries and farms of the Hood River Valley.
This all-inclusive wine tasting ride features exclusive access to private vineyards for guests to experience via bike. The five-hour guided tour has an abundance of historical charm and natural beauty – with vast orchards, vineyards, historical sites, and breathtaking views of both Mount Adams and Mount Hood to be captured along the way. The tour is the perfect blend for first-time and experienced riders looking to explore the region on two-wheels. Includes tastings at 3 wineries and a locally sourced artisan lunch.

Day 7: Depart from Portland
After hotel check out, take a tour of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area on your way back to Portland. The drive takes you along the oldest official “scenic highway” in the US, with stops for a few short hikes to see the sweeping viewpoints and flowing falls. On arrival in Portland you'll enjoy a lunch at one of the city's infamous "food cart pods" before your transfer to your hotel or to the Portland Airport.
