Winery Overview
In 1875, 'Auguste', the ancestor of the Godeau family start to dug the tuff, under the hill with his vineyards, to make his wine in the best conditions. In these cellars, for six generations, the family’s passion for winegrowing has been handed down from father to son.
With a total of 45 ha, the vines occupy the hill between the town of Civray de Touraine and Chenonceaux. The climate here is both maritime and continental, resulting in expressive wines of the Loire Valley.
