Winery Overview
The winery is located at the entrance of the town of Chinon, in the heart of the Loire Valley wine region.
Pierre and Bertrand Couly are winemakers for generations and they imposed their style through their research on the typicality of terroirs. The estate stretches over 21 hectares of vines planted around Chinon. Pierre and Bertrand produce their wines in keeping with traditions and respecting the terroir.
Discover a cellar of 1000m² fully integrated into the hillside and covered with a roof of vines. The red elliptical tasting room of 200m² was though to offer a welcoming and confortable area for wine tasting.
Father and son produce 4 different red wines, a rosé wine and a white. They have chosen to turn towards sustainable viticulture and received the label HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) for their cultivation choices by allowing the preservation of biodiversity.
